Opening Times

Our practice is open to the public 8.15am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

Telephone access is available 8.00am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

The practice is closed on bank holidays and at weekends.

Appointments

The practice operates an open appointment surgery system 8.30am - 10.30am and 4.00pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

If you need to see your doctor please come to the surgery when they are here and you will be seen. If it is an emergency and your own doctor is not here you will be seen by the doctor with the shortest list.

If you find it difficult to attend our open clinics, pre-bookable appointments with your GP are available; please ask at reception for the times. Early morning pre-bookable appointments are available with doctors and nurses 7.30am - 8.00am Tuesday to Friday as well as late evening appointments on alternate Wednesdays (doctor only) if you find that more convenient.

Our practice nurses also operate an open appointment system but do have booked appointments available for heart disease, respiratory disease, diabetes, travel, cytology, ECGs and leg ulcer dressings.

Medicals and postnatals are by appointment only.

Home Visits

Patients are requested to telephone before 10.30am if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after that time. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls. Do remember that several patients can be seen in the surgery in the time it takes to do a home visit.

Telephone Consultations

Patients who would like a telephone consulation with the doctor should phone the surgery before 10.30am and give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to assess the urgency of the consultation. The receptionist will book the consultation with the doctor who will phone the patient back, normally after morning surgery.

Out of Hours

GP assistance for all surgeries in this area, outside of normal working hours is provided by Hampshire Doctors On Call. If you have a life threatening medical emergency please dial 999.
